Trans protesters press Mexican authorities on healthcare, housing, and safety

Trans and nonbinary demonstrators marched through central Mexico City to the federal Interior Ministry, demanding action on healthcare, housing, education, employment, legal recognition, violence, and discrimination. Multiple local reports documented the mobilization and the planned dialogue with authorities.

The protest is evidence of serious unmet needs and organized community advocacy. It does not itself establish a new government policy, so Mexico’s country scores remain unchanged.
